Congratulations to Franklin Taekwondo's Junior competition team for winning 14 team medals at the New England Master's Open Taekwondo Championship which happened just this month. The medals include; ten gold medals, three silver and one bronze. That's a lot of medals for just seven youth athletes and this puts Franklin Martial Arts at the top of the food chain at this tournament. Some athletes compete in two types of competition: board breaking and forms, while some of our students also compete in the third event which is Olympic Tae Kwon-Do sparring.
Great job to Emma Kane of Bellingham, Sam Bilello of Franklin, Evan Madden of Franklin, Cam Harrington of Franklin, Sophia Francisco of Franklin, Aurora Caraballo of Franklin and Danielle McDonnell of Wrentham, MA. Thank you guys for representing Franklin Martial Arts' Taekwondo team so well!!
Medal Count: 14 total
10 gold
3 silver
1 bronze
As always, also congrats to our team coach, third degree black belt Mr. Andrew Wallace, who did a great job coaching that day, but let's not forget about the countless hours he puts in with the competition team for them to reach these results. Great team work, everyone!
Having never set foot in a martial arts building, and knowing nothing about any of the arts, I was apprehensive about enrolling in a class. All fears were set aside after the first boxing class. Everyone was so welcoming that by the second class, staff and students alike felt like long-time friends. Loved it so much I enrolled in not just boxing, but also Jiu Jitsu. The staff is highly knowledgeable, personable, accommodating, and fully committed to your success. The facility is clean and well equipped for a variety of classes.
